THERMOSTATS AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

AUSTRALIAN MARKET: The following thermostat is used on the Solahart solar hot water system tanks: Robertshaw SA203 Fusible resistor thermostat. A terminal block has been fitted for the electrical supply connection to all units manufactured after March 1995 The connections from the thermostat to the terminal block are pre-wired during assembly. The following list shows the evolution of wiring lay-outs since 1992

COMBINATION INLET VALVE

The cold water inlet Combination valve is designed for low temperature application and should therefore be installed at least 1 metre away from the storage tank and at a lower level to form a heat trap. Heat conduction through the pipe-work in those cases where the valve is installed closer than 1 metre will damage the valve seats. Warranty will be voided if these instructions are not followed.
